What makes Earth different from every other planet we know? The answer is water, and its ability to sustain life. West Basin Municipal Water District (West Basin) invites families to explore that connection at its annual Water Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Edward C. Little Water Recycling Facility in El Segundo.
This year's festival launches families into the exciting world of water and encourages people to see Earth from a new perspective—as our shared home and a one-of-a-kind water planet. Admission is free, and attendees of all ages are invited to enjoy an afternoon of interactive activities, entertainment and educational experiences that connect the science of space with the science of water sustainability.
Festival highlights include:
