Local businesses, contractors and consultants are invited to attend a free “How to Work with Water Agencies,” event designed to help companies successfully compete for and secure public sector projects.
This networking opportunity is co-hosted by leading water agencies including West Basin Municipal Water District, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, Water Replenishment District and Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. Resources will be provided to support small businesses, contractors, consultants, suppliers and entrepreneurs with assistance from the U.S. Small Business Administration (Los Angeles Office) and the Los Angeles County Department of Economic Opportunity, including its APEX Accelerator program.
Attendees will gain valuable insights into:
- How to navigate public agency procurement processes
- Upcoming project opportunities and contracting needs
- Tips for submitting competitive bids and proposals
- Building relationships with key agency representatives
As West Basin continues to invest in critical water infrastructure, sustainability programs, and innovative projects, the District is actively seeking qualified vendors and partners. This event is an ideal entry point for businesses looking to grow their portfolios through public sector work.
